- Celestica plans to build a more than 1M SF advanced manufacturing and engineering campus in Fort Worth’s AllianceTexas development, creating roughly 1,700 jobs.
- The Toronto-based electronics manufacturer will produce AI data center infrastructure, including liquid-cooling systems, power solutions, servers, and networking hardware.
- The project adds to a growing pipeline of advanced manufacturing investments flowing into AllianceTexas as companies localize supply chains tied to AI and defense technologies.
Celestica is expanding its US manufacturing footprint with an $876M investment in a new advanced manufacturing campus at AllianceTexas in Fort Worth, reports Bisnow. The Toronto-based electronics manufacturing services company plans to develop more than 1M SF of production and engineering space to support growing demand for AI data center infrastructure and other advanced technology systems.
Fort Worth officials called the project a “mega project,” according to the Dallas Business Journal. Celestica expects the campus to create approximately 1,700 jobs spanning manufacturing operations, engineering, and quality assurance roles.

AllianceTexas Lands Another AI Manufacturing Project
Celestica’s expansion underscores how AllianceTexas has emerged as a magnet for large-scale advanced manufacturing tied to artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and defense supply chains. Hillwood’s 27,000-acre master-planned industrial development has increasingly attracted companies looking to build US-based production capacity as AI infrastructure spending accelerates.
Celestica Chief Operations Officer Yann Etienvre said the project aligns with customer demand for domestic manufacturing capabilities supporting “advanced technology solutions” and long-term infrastructure investments already underway.
The Details
The campus is expected to include Alliance Center North 4 at 15301 N. Beach St. and Alliance Center North 6 at 15500 N. Beach St. Celestica manufactures infrastructure used in AI data centers, including liquid-cooling systems, power solutions, Ethernet switches, storage systems, and servers.
To secure the project, the Fort Worth City Council approved a $41.7M incentive package on May 12, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The agreement includes an 80% property tax abatement over 10 years.
Celestica operates more than 40 manufacturing and design facilities globally and employs over 27,000 workers worldwide.
AllianceTexas Becomes An Advanced Manufacturing Cluster
Celestica joins a wave of major manufacturing announcements reshaping AllianceTexas into a high-tech industrial hub. In February 2026, MP Materials announced plans to invest $1.25B in a 120-acre rare earth magnet manufacturing campus called 10X within the development.
Taiwanese manufacturer Wistron InfoComm is also investing $687M to develop more than 1M SF of manufacturing facilities in AllianceTexas for Nvidia AI supercomputer components. That expansion added to a broader surge in AI infrastructure investment across the development as manufacturers race to support growing hyperscale demand. Bell Textron, meanwhile, is building a $632M factory tied to military aircraft production, including Black Hawk helicopter parts.
The concentration of projects reflects broader momentum across the Dallas-Fort Worth industrial market, where infrastructure availability, logistics connectivity, and power access continue attracting large-scale users tied to AI and advanced manufacturing.
Why It Matters
Celestica’s investment highlights how AI-driven demand is extending beyond data center development into the manufacturing supply chain supporting servers, cooling systems, and networking equipment. As hyperscale operators continue expanding US data center capacity, suppliers are racing to localize production and shorten delivery timelines.
The project also reinforces North Texas’ position as a strategic manufacturing market. According to CBRE’s 2026 US industrial outlook, advanced manufacturing and technology occupiers remain among the largest drivers of new industrial demand nationwide, particularly in Sun Belt logistics hubs.
What’s Next
Construction timelines for the Celestica campus have not yet been disclosed, but the project adds another large-scale industrial development pipeline entry for AllianceTexas. Market watchers will likely monitor whether additional suppliers tied to AI infrastructure, semiconductors, and defense manufacturing follow Celestica into the region.
With billions already committed across multiple projects, AllianceTexas is increasingly positioning itself as a national center for AI-related manufacturing and industrial production.
