The Real Deal reports that Pitbull, in partnership with Rilea Group, plans to build new headquarters for his Mr. 305 music firm in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The project is set for 25 Northeast 28th Street, the site of one of the rapper’s former childhood homes.

To build higher than the allowed five stories, Rilea will contribute cash to the Wynwood public trust fund. In return, the developer will receive development bonuses that allow additional height. The project also supports Wynwood’s shift toward mixed-use, walkable development.

Wynwood Developments Continue

Adjacent to the planned music office, Rilea is developing the Mohawk at Wynwood, a mixed-use project with residential lofts. Rider Residences, a luxury 12-story condo building with 146 units, is also underway on the same block, further shaping Wynwood’s urban landscape.
